The Georgia GHP is a four-week residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program.  The program offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom and that is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.

Over 3,200 students were nominated at the state level, with over 1,500 competing as semifinalists in late February.  From those nominees, 658 students were chosen as finalists, while 111 were chosen as alternates. Since the program is fully-funded by the Georgia General Assembly, there is no charge for students to attend.

We are extremely proud of these students and the opportunity they have to receive instruction from experts in their nominated field.
