HHS is Marching Forth Towards Excellence
RCPS Supt Dr. Oatss, HHS Administrators, and Chief of Staff Hambrick smile after the proclamation was read and presentedHeritage High School was thrilled to welcome Rockdale County Chief of Staff Corey Hambrick as he read and presented a proclamation from the Rockdale County Board of Commissioners today. 

The proclamation reads, "Whereas, the students of the Rockdale County School System hold the promise of a successful future in their capable hands; and whereas, the Heritage High School provides the tools, framework, and solid foundation that is vital toward the future of our children; and whereas, the dedicated efforts of parents, educators, and community leaders will provide the necessary support and strength to our Heritage High School, providing our children with a quality education, and whereas, students will attain a higher level of achievement because of the commitment to excellence and focus on continued improvements in our Heritage High School; and whereas, Heritage High School's mission aims to ensure student success on the world stage by fostering communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity to ensure college and career readiness; and therefore, I, Oz Nesbitt Sr., The Chairman of the Rockdale County Board of Commissioners, do hereby proclaim 2019 in Rockdale County as the Heritage High School Day of Excellence and Tradition. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hands and caused the official seal of Rockdale County to be affixed on this 4th day of March 2019."

Principal Richards has developed a calendar of special events to help our students "march forth towards excellence" in March.
