Greetings Juniors and Seniors,
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closing of schools and businesses nationwide, traditional in person proms were canceled for juniors and seniors for the 2019-2020 school year. In an attempt to accommodate our juniors and seniors who were looking forward to a prom experience this school year, an RCPS combined virtual prom will take place.
The Summer Soiree combined virtual prom will be held for juniors and seniors from Heritage High School, Rockdale County High School, and Salem High School. Join us for a night of music, friends, and fun! Dress to impress or dress to be comfortable. Wait and see who will be named Prom King and Queen for each school.
Date: Saturday, June 20, 2020
Time: 7:00pm-10:00pm
Cost: $8.55 per student (includes: zoom access code, prom favor, postage, and PayPal fee)
Dress Code for Event: Formalwear, Semi-Formalwear, or School Dress Code
All students whether they attend the virtual prom or not will be able to nominate seniors from their respective schools for Prom King and Prom Queen and vote for the top nominees for Prom King and Queen for their school.
Prom Nominations are due by Monday June 15th and final votes are due Thursday June 18th.
*As this is an RCPS sponsored event, the RCPS Student Code of Conduct will be strictly enforced.
