Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

Fosters a Christian environment where athletes and students can learn about God and compete in athletic competition. Membership is open to all students.

French Club

Promotes conversational skills in French and improves cultural understanding of French people. Activities include preparing and bringing your own food for meetings, field trips to relevant cultural productions, and community service projects.

Guitar Club

All levels of guitarist are invited to join. You must own or have access to a guitar. No formal instruction is provided, But students are given opportunities to practice together, share knowledge of techniques, and have fun playing.

HHS Patriot Ambassadors

Official hosts and hostesses for campus events and act as student guides for visitors. These students will be positive role models for their peers.

This club assists, educates, and prepares students to voice their opinion and address the needs of the Latino/Hispanic student body by making leaders while educating the school about their heritage and needs.

Marine Corps Junior Reserve Training Corps (MCJROTC)

Created to inspire students toward careers in cyber security or other science, technology, and engineering careers. Membership restricted to enrolled JROTC cadets for competition purposes.

National Art Honor Society

Gives students with artistic talent the opportunity to create artwork and teaches the appreciation of art through visits to local areas of interest. Must have a 3.0 GPA in art.

National Honor Society of Dance Arts

The NHSDA is the nations leading dance honor society for middle and high schools. The program recognizes the importance of dance as an art form and an academic discipline that contributes toward academic achievement, workforce skills, and life skills; bring well=deserved recognition to outstanding students and schools.

National Honor Society

Recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service, and who exhibit high moral character. Membership is open to selection as prescribed by the national guidelines. Selection is made in the spring and induction in the fall.

Social networking organization the promotes diversity, inclusion, and acceptance throughout the school and community and provides a safe, non-judgmental space in support of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersexed, questioning, and straight youth who share a common vision of equality and social justice.

A military based sport that involves a combination of cross country with maps and has local, regional, and national competitions.

Patriot Players (Drama Club)

Promotes creative collaboration in theatrical arts by offering opportunities for students to develop self-expression, confidence, and performance technique. Patriot Players produces shows, hosts guest artist workshops, and provides community service events. This club is the gateway into International Thespian Troupe #4048.

The Poets’ Society

A club consisting of poets, aspiring poets, and lyricists meeting twice monthly. The goal of this club is to encourage and promote the writing of poetry in all forms and aspects. The bi-monthly meetings will include mini workshops to expose students to various styles of poetic writing, while creating a safe space for writers to share and critique their and others original poems or lyrics.

Reading Bowl

Mrs. Robinson

Competition team where students read selected book among Georgia Children’s Book Award nominees in order to be quizzed at the county-level Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl. Winning teams move on to the state championship at the Annual Conference on Children’s Literature in March.

Rockdale Youth Leadership Club


Fosters and builds student leadership qualities and is a division of the Rockdale County Schools Youth Leadership program. Membership is restricted to students who are nominated to attend the school system’s summer student leadership retreat.

Rosetta Society

Provides opportunities to explore students’ curiosity about the human experience through weekend through weekend excursions to regional points of interest, guest speakers, and summer travel abroad.
